The recipe for these cookies was given to me by my sister in law.
She is a professional wedding cake baker (artist).
In other words, her baked goods are GOOD!
When she passed the recipe to me and Avery, she told me to never give it to anyone.
She said many people would ask for it and when they do, give them a made up recipe for some other oatmeal cookie.
Many people have asked me for the recipe.
Instead of making up some fake recipe, I just tell them flat out they cannot have this one.
Hee Hee..
I have been thinking though...Its not what is in these cookies that makes them so good.
It is how they are made.....With a little bit of love for everyone we give them to.
I am sure you have a recipe like that? somewhere? right?

that was like telling a kid on christmas morning he will get a new puppy and all that sits in front of him is a rock. i was like yes! a new recipe for my favorite cookies. I reread the post twice to find out I don't process when I read.
i know this is kinda random, but you the exact same name as me. Im courtney spratt too. haha, I just thought that was kinda funny.
